The Basic Can Look like A Badass Too..

   The game of life is never is out favor, rather is fucking shitty at times. So, on days when life wants to hits you in the face with things such as waking up late, feeling down in the dumps, or your just that sick of everything. And you might be wondering, what will compensate for those horrendous feelings from hell? 

   Simple, the basic things that we love in our lives. I personally feel when shit hits the fan, or just when your not on top of your game, there is a feeling of wanting things that are basic and clean. And the three pieces of clothing that I believe to hold the chic minimalistic properties are, the white T-shirt, well fitting blue jeans, and vans. 

   The white T-shirt is just so simple and pack with amazing powers. Let's get to real level here, when was the last time you wore a white T-shirt and did not feel super comfortable? I'm going to guess that's like a never, because you felt fucking awesome in it. And that's like the cool part about the whiteT-shirt you feel super cool and like a comfertable badass in one.

   Then it's the blue jeans, like how the fuck can you go wrong with that. It's blue jeans, and no, not your ugly tacky jeans with all the fancy butt pocket bedazzled shit. I mean a well comfertable fitting pair of jeans that you have had for years. That's the key point with jeans too, is that they get better with age. The denim feels soft, it fits you well and looks like it's been loved a lot. So, it's like in away your best freind that's always got your back, but in this case she covers your ass.

   Then it's there are Vans. The logic just keeps adding up, it's comfy, on comfy, on comfy. So how can you go wrong with that? You can't, you just can't. Vans, are the chic skater street shoes that give you that quick dash of cool, without over doing it. All at the same time you feet are thanking God that every step you take is not a painful jolt that is going through your foot. 

     So, that's was not hard at all. With those three basic item that we all have, or at lest should have in our closet. We, are now prepared to tackle our daily problems and also have the power to comfertable and still look like a badass this summer.

Mini is a Good Thing....

   As the weather is starting to get fucking hot outside, and life is getting more relaxed with summer vacation almost in effect. We all need to downsized our closets. And downsizing doesn't just have to be in are everyday clothing, but also can be done in are accessories. 

   The most challenging one to downsize in the accessories department, in my opinion, is our wallets. I don't know why, but I'm that kinda person that just fills up my wallets with a ton of unnecessary shit that just seems to find it's way in there. So all I have to say for myself is that, the bigger the wallet, the more shit that will be in there. 

 

   There is however an esay way to fix this catastrophe of a wallet problem, and that is found in two simple things, the coin purse and the card case. At first I won't lie, I could not part with my big wallet. I probably sat there for a good hour deciding what to put in that little fucker. 

   But then I found out that most of the shit that lives in my wallet are receipts. So I took out all those fuckers and placed them in another little thing of there own. Then it was to the cards, and all I took was my ID and medical card. The rest of them found a new home with in a card case. Then last was that I just placed some cash in the middle of the card case, and called it a day. 

So, over all it takes practice to downsize

our wallets, and that overtime we can all be masters at it too. So with summer vacation almost here and that we have fun things to do with our lives. Don't let your wallet be the little fucks in your way. Rather just get something small, and cute that you can pack all your summer fun into. 

Vans in the Summer Forecast..

So I can't see myself wearing sandals...I mean I hate my toes, god my toes have a mind of there own on somedays. However, it's great to see other people that can pull them off in all there strappy glory. As summer is rolling in to our forecast. What should we do to are little cute feet to make them look even more adorable. 

Well, what I usually go for is comfort, and that falls in to the categories of Vans. I mean Vans are like my personal favorite shoes to go for of all time. These mother fuckers have stood the test of time, from rain, snow, hail and cat attacks. They still rather look great for the shit they have suffered. 

So, these I got in a sale at UrbanOutfitters, god that store is like my crack. It's like once you walk in you just can't stop, but you must keep shopping and looking un till you fingers fall off. But, moving from the cogitation of how that store is like crack, these where a steal at $20 and they fit me little feet so well. 

What I pair them with are like a pair of denim shorts and a basic white T-shirt for a lazy day. However, these kinda day are rare for me. I only have to pull this day off when my alarm does go off but all I do is just hit the snooze button one two many times.

Or you could go hardcore chic and go with like dark purple peg leg jeans, and a vary fun ombré denim shirt. This is what I typically go for. That's why I have my alarm set at like 6:00am. So I can plan my outfits and also do my homework from last night. 

But all that aside, just put on shoes or sandals that make you feel cofertable. Like it's summer people, come on feel the comfort. A summer romance is not and most likely won't be in my forecast for the next three months. But you know what will be in my forecast...a good pair of shoes for shopping and summer trips with friends. 

Cozy for Spring...

Spring is such a nice time of year. The flowers are blooming, I suddenly want to wear shorts, and my love life has take a crash for the worst. So why should we need to be cozy in a season full of fun.

Simple, felling cozy is like the best feeling ever. I mean when I feel like shit what do I do that make myself feel more awesome and less shitty. I go for the classic oversized sweater. And I mean a sweater that is oversized. The one that makes you look like your swimming in a pool of fabric and that there is no end in sight.

 

This wonderful number is from Urban Otfitters and my God might I just say that my life has changed for the better. When I want to conceal my food baby, BAM sweater. When I want to look lazy and put together, BAM sweater. Or when I feel like shit and need a hug feeling kinda feeling, BAM sweater. 

So you may ask how the fuck do you pull a sweater off in such flaming weather like this. Easy I just wear nothing underneath the sweater. Or a vary thin T-shirt or tank top for added comfort. Then just wear that baby with shorts. And your out the door and face the complex matters of your day, or just sit on the couch and cry while watching Silverlings Playbook and eating a thing of ice cream. 

So when you doubt the comfort of a sweater in spring just remember this. If you need a hug from something soft as warm. If you want to look lazy and hot at the same time because my friend that goal is a realistic goal that we can all achieve. And finally the sudden resentment of last nights pizza order for the two people in your life that you care the most for...you and yourself. Then no worries, the sweater is there to help. So the next time you have a life problem that needs help, just remember the sweater is there to help.

Weather vs Fashion...

In life there's nothing more extravagant  then walking around Walmart at 3:00 pm in a sweater and cuffed yellow pants, when the weather is at 85 degrease. And everyone around you is looking at you because it seems that you forgot the memo about the weather being hot. Or it maybe that there are a bunch of cute little green dinosaurs that are on your sweater.

But,whatever the case maybe. The interisting part is why dose it matter if the weather is on our side or not when it comes to dressing our awesomeness filled bodies. Yah it maybe nice not to sweat when the weather is flameing hot. Or freeze to death when it's below freezing. 

   But why should we let that stop us. We can always bypass the weather Gods with simple man made divicdes. So the next time weather gets in your way just remember 3 things to always pack in your car or in your bag. 

One an umbrella, the best thing when it comes to weather combating. Rain that's a joke, the sun...what is the sun? The umbrella is the best at what it does when it comes to weather combatting. And plus it also allows your own personal space, so people stay out.  

Two the sunglasses when you think it's just a chic accent pice to your outfit, it is not my friend. The sun is a evil enemy to are eyeballs and that is a vary bad thing. Do you want crows feet, I guess not so go get some shades and protect your eyeballs. 

And last but not least the rain coat. This is the best fashion number when it comes to rain. One it's to chic when the rain comes around, don't freak out or cry just toss on that rain coat and walk out with elegance from your car. The rain will NEVER be your enemy with that badass device on you back. 

So, the next time Mother Nature plays a bitch card in your fashion moment. You don't have to worry with the three devices that man have made to combate her bitchyness. So remember people have fun and walk out there with your heart on your sleeve...or what other organ that you so wish to like to have on your sleeve. 

The Plaid Shirt

What do you get when you mix a bunch of lines together and call it a day...plaid! So what the hell do I exactly do with plaid. I personally I'm not a big fan of plaid, and for some reson I must have hated the print and there is no realistic reson for me to hate the print but I guess it happend and manifested in my little childish mind.

It was only a few day a go when I went on a shopping expedition with a friend, and he talked me in to buying the shirt. Like yah I only bought the shirt becuse it was only $10 and I was like fuck it. I love outerwear and I was going to get a sweater, however today the shirt wins. So taking it home and not really knowing what to do with it, I just began doing what I normally do with clothing pices that I have no fucking  idea and just had a layering party with me, myself, and I. 

So I put the shirt on with yellow pants, and a light grey knit blazer, with red shose. And then I decided  put a short sleeve shirt  that was blue and had polka dots, over that shirt and then a utility jacket on top with light was green jeans, and blue shose. Yah you might have said that I had a little fun with all that clothes in my closet that I tried on. 

However the better part of this story was that the clothes I got kind of board in my closet and was tired of seeing, where now supper happy looking and was awesome, like I had feeling of happiness just washing over me and I just can't believe that just buying one shirt can make that much of a difference in my closet.

 So the next time you are in a board state of mind about your clothes. Just remember this, don't buy a whole new closet just, try to find something that you feel that is missing in your closet to make all the clothes that you have now work with that one new pice. Then your closet is new to you and you also got some thing new instead of going crazy and trashing all your old clothes and buying a whole new closet.

The Utility Jacket

In life, we all have those days where we don't want a sweater or a cardigan. But what we truly want is a full on jacket,but not just any jacket a utility jacket, with all the bells and whistles. The buttons and zipper to keep us warm from Mother Nature, and the pockets to keep our beloved phones in.

But how do we make them look super cool and chic for any day of the week from going for a jog at 6am in the morning, or grbing dinner at 9pm with your date, it is as simple as one, two, three.

One: The Layering.

The hole point of this first step, is to it make as fun as possible underneath the jacket, So with a pop of floral or polka dots. The jacket is called the utility jacket for a reason...it's for a utilitarian use. So have a lot of fun with this step, for me I always head right to the floral department in my closet. Now we skip down to the second step.

Two: Color..

Color is such an amazing thing when used masterfully. So stay in a color palette that works well together with the jacket. By doing this it makes the jacket look effortlessly fitting in with the party of clothes that you have. And last but not least, hopping down to the last step. 

Three: Happiness from Within.

This is the most important step because if you don't feel confident in what your wearing then the whole look that you have now worked so hard for, is now looking like shit. Because when your both confident and happy with your look, then the look as a whole looks amazing and you will shine.

So now we know what the three steps are to making the utilitarian jacket look chic, and cool. Let's go out there into the world with are phones in one pocket and are Chapstick in the other.
